This Editorial Policy explains how Pluvanti Blog articles are researched, written, reviewed, updated and corrected. It applies to every article on the site.
Who writes our articles?
Each article is published under the name of the writer responsible for it. You can read about every writer, the topics they cover and how they check their work on our team page. Writer profiles describe topics and working methods only; nothing on Pluvanti Blog is presented as professional medical, legal or financial advice.
How are articles researched and written?
- We start from the question readers actually search for and answer it in the first few lines.
- Facts, figures, definitions and quotations are checked against primary or official sources where they exist, such as government and university pages, official product documentation, published research and recognised dictionaries.
- Each article links two or three of its key sources inline, next to the claim they support, so readers can check the evidence themselves.
- Time-sensitive details, such as prices, requirements, features and travel rules, are checked close to publication, and the article names the country, version or date when that changes the answer.
- We do not present desk research as hands-on testing or personal experience, and we leave out any claim or quote we cannot trace to a source.
How are articles reviewed?
Every article has a named writer and is reviewed before it is published. Senior Editor Nora Pemberton reviews articles by the other writers, and Nora’s own articles are reviewed by Staff Writer Marcus Ellery. The reviewer checks facts, examples and wording against the writer’s sources and asks for fixes before the article goes live. The byline under each headline shows who wrote the article, who reviewed it and when it was last updated.
How do we handle health, money and legal topics?
Articles on health, fitness, money, careers and legal questions are general information only, not professional advice. They rely on official and well-established sources, explain any limits or uncertainty, and suggest speaking to a qualified professional before making decisions about your own situation.
How do we correct mistakes?
If you spot an error, email contact@pluvantiblog.com or use our contact page with the article link and what needs fixing. We check every report, correct confirmed errors as quickly as we can, and update the “Last updated” date on the article when the change affects its content. Our corrections policy explains the process in more detail.
How often are articles updated?
We revisit articles when facts change, when readers report a problem, or when a better answer becomes available. Time-sensitive topics, such as prices, requirements and software features, are checked more often than evergreen guides. Small fixes to spelling or layout do not count as an update, and we do not change dates just to make an unchanged article look new.
Independence and advertising
Pluvanti Blog is independent. Our writers choose topics based on what readers need, not on payment. If we ever publish sponsored content or use affiliate links, we will label them clearly on the page.
